29 Mar Rep. Marsha Blackburn Pushes for Universal Privacy Standards
Last Tuesday, Tennessee Republican representative Marsha Blackburn said that she would like to know that position of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on privacy standards for the whole ecosystem which includes ISPs and edge providers.
Blackburn said that women in her state are increasingly getting concerned about their online privacy and even said that “there is nothing women hate more than a peeping Tom”.
Blackburn is one of the latest in a number of lawmakers to speak out on Facebook’s lack of protection for its users’ data.
