30 Aug Okta Offers Enhanced Security Features, AMFA Compatibility for Legacy Systems
Last Tuesday, identity management company Okta announced several enhancements to their IT products which they highlighted at the Oktane conference in Las Vegas.
Okta revealed that they will be making some upgrades to their Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication (AMFA). Aside from maintaining support for legacy technology, AMFA will now cover a wider range of infrastructure and applications including LDAP, RDP, SSO products, and even custom web apps. It will also be more intelligent and context-driven, monitoring access behaviors, determining compromised credentials to help organizations make smarter access decisions.
Basic two-factor authentication will also be made a standard for every Okta user.
