06 Jan New Tool Shows How Much Information Users Share with Strangers on Facebook
A new tool developed by Supremo.tv claims that it can show users how much information Facebook is sharing about them when they use the platform to log into various websites or online stores.
Although Supremo.tv’s tool presents a less thorough summary since it can only use about half the amount of data the site releases, it is still able to show the frightful amount of sensitive user data that Facebook releases to third parties.
Supremo.tv’s Ian Cox advises users to think twice about using the Login with Facebook feature, and to only “share what you would be happy with the whole world seeing.”
