A new study by Episerver which surveyed 1000 UK consumers revealed that a majority would be willing to share their personal data in exchange for improved privacy, faster shipping, larger discounts and deals.
In its 2018 Reimagining Commerce report, around 86% of respondents said they would share their personal data better privacy and deal perks. 22% felt more loyal to brands that personalize their experiences while 29% said personalization would want them to buy again.
However, (43%) thought that brands didn’t care enough about personalizing content, which resulted to a lack of trust in one in 10 consumers.
