New Adobe Initiative to Track Users Across Multiple Devices

Adobe recently announced a new Device Co-op initiative which will help companies track user activity across multiple devices for better ad targeting.

Using the new service, Adobe will be able to see if the same user is on a home PC, a work laptop, a phone or tablet by analyzing past sign-ins with member companies. Around 60 companies, including leading brands like Subway, Sprint and the NFL are reportedly joining the Adobe initiative.

Adobe executive Amit Ahuja said that the recent Cambridge Analytica and Facebook issue has set the bar so high in terms of privacy, and assured the public that no personal data will be exchanged among participating companies.
