05 Dec Leakbase.pw Discontinues Service, Redirects to Have I Been Pwned
Last December 2, Leakbase.pw announced that it will be discontinuing its service and will be issuing refunds to users who still have some time left on their subscriptions.
The site, which sells leaked usernames and passwords from data breaches, has since redirected their domain to HaveIBeenPwned.com, a breach notification site run by researcher Troy Hunt.
According to security researcher Brian Krebs, the service may have been shut down due to a sting by Dutch authorities on Hansa, a dark web market where Leakbase had allegedly been selling information.
