05 Jul Keep Your Data Secure with Self-Destructing PC
A new kind of PC takes an extreme route to protecting physical device and data security.
Orwl, a palm-sized computer, is made specially to protect data. It uses a number of layers to block even the most persistent of hackers. To turn on the device, users need a password and a wireless keyfob. Whenever the keyfob is moved away from the computer’s range, it will switch to sleep mode, shutting the USB and HDMI ports.
On top of that it will automatically wipe data on its encrypted Solid-State Disk (SSD) as its final act to keep data away from hackers prying hands.
Orwl is currently priced at $1699.
