Jack Ma Tells Facebook to Fix Privacy Problems

Speaking at the Boao Forum for Asia, Alibaba chief Jack Ma urged Facebook last Monday to fix its data privacy issues and added that the senior management should take responsibility. The comment came before Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg’s scheduled appearance before the US Congress.

Ma, who previously refrained from commenting on the social network’s privacy woes, thinks that the problem will be solved and that the company should not be killed off just because of its recent mistakes. The Chinese tycoon said that he did not want to opine on Facebook, but instead commented that people 15 years ago never expected the company to grow so much. .

Ma further emphasized that the most important solution is to respect the security and the privacy of data.
