Google has recently published a new website that details the steps the company is taking to comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The GDPR requires companies to handle and protect the data of EU residents according to specific privacy and security controls. It also gives the user more control over his data.
Google says that customers and partners will also be able to better understand how their data is shared, as well as the security measures that Google’s cloud infrastructures and the company’s commitments to all other data protection laws.
The information on the website also discusses how the GDPR affects products such as Google cloud services, Gmail and Search, DoubleClick, AdSense and AdWords.
