Forever 21 Reveals Malware Involvement in Data Breach

Forever 21 has recently released new information on the investigation the company’s data breach that was discovered last November.

The retailer said that an external cyber forensics team working for them found that malware was installed in some of the PoS devices in a few of their outlets. The malware was able to collect information such as credit card numbers, expiration dates, and internal verification codes from payment track data within April 3 to November 18, 2017.

Forever 21 says that the investigation is still ongoing and has not yet revealed how many customers had been affected.
