Mozilla announced that Firefox 58, which was released this week, was not only built with a number of performance enhancements, but also includes fixes for security flaws present in the previous version.

Mozilla says that Firefox 58’s Tracking Protection feature, which was first implemented in Private Mode of Firefox 57, will now be enabled all the time as it was found to speed up page loads.

32 vulnerabilities which consisted of four critical, 13 high, 13 moderate, three low severity bugs, including the two variants of Meltdown and Spectre, were also addressed in Firefox 58.
