28 Feb Feeds from Unsecured UK School CCTVs Streamed Online
The Daily Mail recently reported that they have found a website which streams live feed from unsecured CCTVs in various UK schools.
The feeds included visuals from restrooms, playgrounds, corridors, inside and outside of buildings showing school kids as young as infants, teachers, parents and cleaning staff without their knowledge.
The website even calls itself the world’s biggest directory of online surveillance security cameras, with live footage comes from cameras which have not been secured with a password. The site is apparently based in the US, and the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office has now launched an investigation into the matter.
