14 Apr Facebook COO Holds Talks with EU Justice Commissioner
Last Thursday, European Union Justice Commissioner Vera Jourova said that she had a “constructive and open discussion” with Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg on the company’s recent privacy issue.
In a half an hour call, Sandberg confirmed that there could be other apps that may have harvested personal data of users and those of their friends, and that the company is working on improving transparency on political advertising, said Jourova.
Jourova meanwhile asked Sandberg to urge Facebook’s CEO to accept the European Parliament’s invitation.
