Experts Divulges Ad Workaround, Flouts New Facebook Privacy Rules

Several digital political advertisers recently divulged that they have already found a number of ways to flout Facebook’s new privacy rules in preparation for the US midterm elections.

The source revealed that it is possible to get around Facebook’s restriction on petitions just by using Facebook ads that direct users to sign petitions on sites outside the platform. The GOP consultant also said that they are constantly looking for new ways to bypass new privacy settings.

Facebook announced that it has been testing improvements on digital political ads and may roll out the best ideas in a few months. However, the company has not yet responded to reports of workarounds to their new privacy guidelines.
