Edge Browser to Switch Automatically to Private Mode on NSFW Websites

Last week, Microsoft was reported to have filed a patent for a browser technology that will automatically switch its Edge browser to Private Browsing Mode on “NSFW” websites.

According to Microsoft, it will be compiling a list of “questionable” websites, often those dealing with adult content, that may ask for the user’s personal information. The user will also be able to additionally specify which websites should trigger the feature.

Temporary files, cookies, and browsing history will also be scrubbed from the computer permanently once the user leaves Private Browsing Mode.
