24 Mar DuckDuckGo Launches Privacy Challenge Crowdfunding Campaign
Privacy-focused search engine DuckDuckGo announced this week that it has launched a campaign aimed at raising funds for organizations that promote privacy online.
Hosted by CrowdRise, the Privacy Challenge campaign will be accepting and matching donations for organizations that advocate personal privacy on the Internet until April 10, 2018. The organizations will be competing for $500,000 in prizes to support their missions.
Since 2011, DuckDuckGo has already donated $800,000 to various projects that support Internet privacy. Interested parties who wish to view the projects and donate can do so at https://www.crowdrise.com/duckduckgoprivacychallenge
