13 Jan Crypviser to Use Blockchain for Protection of Messages
A recently launched encryption identification system called Crypviser claims to be able to secure messages by preventing man-in-the-middle (MiTM) attacks using blockchain technology.
According to the company, data will be exchanged using public keys between parties, circumventing centralized systems such as ones used by WhatsApp or Viber. Using a patent-pending Blockchain authentication and verification system, the platform will be able to protect and detect against third-party intrusion since data tampering attempts will require changes to all transactions on the transparent ledger.
The Crypviser messenger for iOS and Android are expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2018.
