19 Sep 1 in 50 iOs Application Could Leak User Information
According to a Global Threat Report this second quarter published by Zimperium, multiple threats in the iOs and Android systems have created growing vulnerabilities and risks to its users.
Based on the report, Zimperium identifies three specific threats to mobile users: app, network, and device threats. Application threats include spyware, adware, malware, and apps that leak information. Network threats are those sent using the cell network. Device threats include unpatched vulnerabilities and outdated OS.
Zimperium noted that enterprises should be concerned as 1 out of 50 applications may potentially be leaking information to third parties.
